Columbia Maritime Museum is located about ten miles (16 km) southeast of the mouth of the Columbia River in Astoria, Oregon.

It has a reputation nation wide for the quality it exhibits. The museum was opened 60 years ago. The museum is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums.[6] It is the official state maritime museum for Oregon. Classes, workshops, demonstrations, lectures, and other educational programs are regularly conducted at the Columbia River Maritime Museum.
